Our Story

Autonomy Insurance was founded to fill a clear gap in the market:

Commercial operators working with advanced drone and autonomous technologies were often trying to fit complex operations into generic business policies.

We saw operators in sectors like mining, resources, surveying and media taking on significant risk – sometimes without fully understanding where they were and weren’t covered. With our background in commercial and aviation-style insurance, we established Autonomy Insurance to provide focused, specialist support in this space.
